24% sales decline for Jif & Peter Pan

The salmonella scare drove down jarred peanut butter sales that much in the last month even though these brands are unaffected by the outbreak.  These companies, Smuckers and ConAgra have been trying to reassuring people through advertising but so far people are still wary.
