$20 million damages awarded against Extendicare

A Florida jury looked at an incident with  a nursing home resident who was found malnourished, dehydrated and had developed severe pressure sores.  Testimony revealed the center operated short staffed and employees didn’t have enough time to provide the everyday tasks the resident needed.

    Stuff like this just makes me sick; regardless of the monitary award the suffering that person went through can never be changed.
