Last week I relayed the news that Apollo Management was looking to swap its Charter debt for equity so it could have a voice in the company’s restructuring. Now its being joined two other buyout companies; Oaktree Capital Management and Franklin Resources. Supposedly, Paul Allen, company co-founder will retain voting control in the company. Why? Its not like he has a good track record with Charter. Maybe its a face-saving gesture.
