Facebook eliminates juror from torture slaying trial

A potential juror was dismissed in a high profile murder case involving the slaying of a young woman in Knoxville Tennessee,  Channon Christian, because the juror supposedly joined a Facebook group page honoring the murdered woman.   The judge in the case admitted that he didn’t know anything about Facebook.  Professionals of all kinds clearly need basic instructions in social networking in order to do their jobs.
