Embedding social networking in e-mail blasts

E-mail marketing was around before social networking and has lost its buzz but not its effectiveness.  According a Strongmail survey, business executives are looking increase their spend on email marketing and social networking the most, probably spending to further integrate the two.

How?  There are many ways for this integration to work.  E-mail newsletters can drive traffic to blogs and websites.  Law firms can embed social networking sharing as seen in online articles so that a recipient can post the newsletter to Twitter, Facebook etc.

What does this mean?  Your email newsletter needs compelling, engaging content to spread around the web.
