Interesting take-aways from this survey from Greentarget of in-house counsel reading habits:

  • In-house counsel see increasing consumption of Internet and new media content
  • Blogs are cited by 43% as “go-to” sources
  • Wikipedia profiles are highly credible but not frequently relied upon

What does this mean?

That solos and small firms have an increased opportunity to become thought-leaders in specific niches.  No longer do big names and large advertising budget completely dictate who is credible to in-house counsel.
