A lawyer made a move to expunge client court and other official records from their various databases and he added to the mix a couple of local newspapers. The Pennsylvania state court ruled against the lawyer and denied his request for the local newspapers to expunge information about the clients records. The lawyer is contemplating appealing.
Precedent staked against him
As the first amendment scholar Robert D. Richards says, “The precedent in this area is stacked against his client,” Richards said of Amendola. “It’s been that way for really more than three decades.”
