From the forum thread I linked to below it sounds like the local TV media wasn’t terribly receptive to these protests. And what about national media? I looked at Google news and found very little coverage of a protest that spanned fifteen states. I think its part of the corporatization of the mainstream media. If its a nationwide abortion or gay rights protest the media will cover it because politics is safe. But a protest against a big corporation? Too scary particularly in these days of a scarce advertising revenue.
