“Los Angeles, Sacramento and El Segundo sued Pac Bell and AT&T California in Superior Court, claiming they violated federal law by failing to provide basic cable subscribers with public, educational and governmental access channels.
One plaintiff, the Sacramento Metropolitan Cable Television Commission, represents the city and county of Sacramento and the cities of Citrus Heights, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Elk Grove and Galt.”

November 10, 2008Former office manager sues her employer, Sacramento dentists, because she alleges that they made attendance at Scientology seminars a condition of employment. After attending a March 2008 Scientology seminar, she told her employer she wouldn’t attend another one. They said she should consider that refusal as grounds for termination. She stopped coming to work in March and the defendants considered her terminated.
