The federal government has issued a new regulation that allows consumers receiving prerecorded phone calls an opportunity to opt out of all future calls. The notice also says that consumers should only receive such calls where there is an “established business relationship.” I don’t know about you but I don’t have such relationships with any timeshare companies that currently call my house. It makes me wonder how effective these regulations will actually be. I know, be positive!
