Suit: Best Buy charges sales tax on converters

The big digital TV conversion has become a source of litigation.  According to the plaintiff in this class action filed in Texas state court, Best Buy charged sales tax on the full amount of digital converter box even though the plaintiff was using the coupon provided by the government. Also according the complaint, Best Buy can’t legally collect that sales tax.
