Here is a link to Coca Cola’s “Online Social Media Principles.” This is not a company policy about employee use of social networking. It is a document that helps guide people talking on behalf of Coke to do so responsibly and effectively. Also, given the fact that it is publicly available, it appears to be a document meant to calm any public doubts about Coke’s use of social networking.
One smart move: they require anyone representing the company online to complete a social media certification program.
