Judge saves Bratz dolls

After losing an intellectual property dispute with Mattel, MGA Universal was suppose to take the scantily-clad, Britney-esque dolls off the shelves in early 2009.  However, US District Judge Larson took pity on the company that was looking at a big layoff if the court order went through.  Now they have until the end of 2009 to manufacture and sell the increasingly unpopular line of dolls.

So its a victory for good economics and bad taste!
